We love Eureka Springs. There is a lot to do here for such a small town. It’s definitely and ideal place to create your own adventure. Here’s some of our favorite things to do –
Hiking/Biking
Take a walk downtown.
Wendy does a regular route starting at the Eureka Springs Community Center to Benton over to Cat House to access Armstrong St to Douglas St. back to Little Lake Eureka and around to Steele Street (look for Hatchet Hall along the way) a short jaunt on Flint to Main Street in front of the Grand Hotel then south to Spring Street crossing in front of The Aud to head past Basin Park, through Downtown all the way to Ellis. Up the big hill at Ellis to “the upper loop” (head left away from The Crecent) which changes names with each curve back to the Community Center. It’s about 4.5 miles. You see multiple springs along the way.

Option A:
Start with coffee at Just Bee Coffee Bar or Brews (who also serves Nujava coffee). Take a hike at Black bass Lake. Have brunch at B-Side Cafe and peruse the records at Mojo’s while waiting for lunch. Park at the transit station on Planner Hill and walk the streets of downtown and be sure to pop into fun shops like TRex, AMUSED, Silver Maple, Granny’s Closet, and Beyond the Yonder. Take a walk up Spring Street to Crescent Dr and up to the Crescent Hotel. Swing for a few minutes to catch your breath or maybe play some games on the porch before heading up to the 4th floor observation deck for a view of the giant Jesus (aka Christ of the Ozarks) to admire how disproportionate his arms are (ask a local why). Take the trolly out to Thorncrown Chapel. Catch the trolly back to hangout with us, have dinner with the Yellow Bucket Fried Tacos, watch some live music. Call the Eureka Taxi to take you to catch some live music at Gravel Bar. You could take a night stroll down to Missy’s White Rabbit for more music then down to Chelsea’s for even more music. We’re guessing you’ll sleep well after that!
The next morning, enjoy brunch at Spring On Main (often has music during brunch) before heading out to check out Railway Winery and Lovell Estate Winery or Turpentine Creek before heading home.
