April will read selections from Robin Wall Kimmerer’s new book, “The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World,” which is about “a vision for how to orient our lives around gratitude, reciprocity, and community, based on the lessons of the natural world,” and a deeper exploration of the model of the “gift economy” a topic she explored in her very popular book “Braiding Sweetgrass.”
