We are proud members of the Arkansas Brewers Guild, Brewers Association, Pink Boot Society and Master Brewers Association. We take beer education seriously. Our beertenders are required to be Cicerone Level I certified within their first year of employment.
When you come to Gotahold Brewing, we want to work with you to find the beer you’re going to enjoy the most and get you either a half or full serving. We don’t do flights. On occasion, we won’t have anything a person likes. In that case, we have wine, cider, nonalcoholic beverages, plus a lovely coffee shop in our building. Lots of options.
We pre-package our beers for your convenience and they are date coded so you know they are fresh. We’ve learned that growlers are sometimes not cleaned properly which can significantly effect the flavor of the beer. Once a filled growler has been opened, it’s on a time clock. The longer it’s in that growler the flatter it becomes and the exposure to oxygen begins oxidation, changing the flavor.
We can’t control those things, but we can control how we package our beer, minimizing oxygen, adding date codes so you know the beer is fresh and at its best. Even so, we have customers that inadvertently find a can of our beer hiding in the back of their fridge, forgotten. We’re proud when they share that it held its flavor, but we can’t ever promise it will do that. No one can.
