The Arkansas Brewers Guild mission is to protect and promote the craft beer industry in Arkansas.
Though Eureka Springs gotahold of us, the work of the Arkansas Brewers Guild to make laws favorable for craft breweries is what sold us on Arkansas to open our brewery. These laws are what have allowed us to make the beers we want to make, to have a cool taproom and beer forest, and grow our distribution as we have.
The Guild has had a very tough two years since COVID began. Most of the fundraising is done through tap takeovers and beer fests, things we couldn’t safely do. As a result, the Guild lost its Executive Director at the end of last year. The small Board of Directors (Wendy is currently serving as Vice President), took over those responsibilities and are now in the process of rebuilding the coffers.
Gotahold Brewing has selected the ABG in March because:
- The Governor has proclaimed March 6-12 as Arkansas Craft Beer Week
- Pint Day is March 12
- We are a destination brewery. We wanted to invite other destination breweries to join us in promoting hard to find Arkansas craft beers with our #tipsfortransformation Thursdays “Destination:brewery” events.
- We love craft beer and the craft brewing industry.
Come join us every Thursday in March to celebrate Arkansas Craft Beer.
