Organization of the month: ECHO Village

“There is nothing more important than a good, safe, secure home.” Rosalyn Carter

Eureka Springs is a beautiful town with many historic Victorian style homes. This tourist destination provides lovely hospitality and quaint charms in it’s many restaurants, shops, and lodging. Behind the scenes, affordable housing continues to be a big issue for our town. That is why we’ve selected ECHO Village as our organization of the month.

What is ECHO Village?

ECHO Village is creating a model, sustainable, cooperative community of small homes where all residents not only live happily together, but thrive by serving and loving each other.

ECHO Village is a unique housing development, predominantly for low income residents, serving the homeless, first time jail offenders, vets, and anyone who needs to break out of the cycle of poverty. Designed for 26 small, affordable homes, shared common grounds embracing the concept of community living. Residents share their talents with each other in a way that enriches everyone.

Our Goal

ECHO Village has build 10 homes on 26 of their available home sites. They are raising the last $10K to build house #11. We are supporting ECHO Village through February. Every Thursday, 100% of the tips will be donated to the organization. Can’t make it on a Thursday but feel compelled to contribute?
