Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 2026

Look, we know privacy policies are about as fun to read as the instructions on a fire extinguisher. So we’ll keep this simple, honest, and mildly entertaining — because that’s how we roll. We make great beer and we’d like to think we’re decent humans, too. At Gotahold Brewing, we believe in being straightforward with you—about our beer and about how we handle your information. This privacy policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. If you have questions, we’re always happy to talk. Just reach out.

What Information We Collect

When you visit our website, sign up for our newsletter, or interact with us online, we may collect:

  • Contact Information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you voluntarily provide it (like signing up for our newsletter or contacting us)
  • Visit Information: Basic details about your visit to our website, like which pages you view and how long you stay
  • Location Information: General location data (like city and state) to help us share relevant information about events and beer availability

How We Use Your Information

One thing. One beautiful, non-creepy thing: we use it to keep you updated on what’s happening at your favorite brewery. New releases. Seasonal taps. Upcoming events. The occasional “we just got something stupid good” announcement. That’s the deal. We’re in the beer business, not the data business.

We use the information you share with us to:

  • Send you updates about events, new beer releases, and happenings at the brewery (only if you’ve opted in)
  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Improve our website and understand what content is most helpful
  • Comply with legal requirements

We will never — and we mean never — sell, rent, trade, barter, auction off, or otherwise hand your personal information to:

•  Bottom-feeding, jackass criminals who would love nothing more than to spam you into oblivion, steal your identity, or otherwise ruin your day. HARD PASS.

•  Soulless corporate conglomerates (yes, we know — redundant) who would hoover up your data, repackage it seventeen times, and sell it to some marketing hellscape before you’ve finished your morning coffee. That’s not us. That will never be us.

Your information belongs to you. We’re just borrowing it long enough to let you know your fav is back on tap or fav band is playing soon.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party platforms — like email providers or payment processors — to help us operate. These partners are required to handle your data responsibly and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We vet them carefully. We’re discerning about our hops AND our vendors.

Cookies and Tracking

Like most websites, we use cookies—small files that help our site work better and remember your preferences. You can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer, though some features of our site may not work as smoothly.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to help run our website and communicate with you, including:

  • Email marketing platforms (to send newsletters)
  • Website analytics (to understand how people use our site)
  • Social media platforms (when you interact with our social content)

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what information we have about you
  • Update or correct your information
  • Unsubscribe from our emails at any time (there’s an unsubscribe link in every email)
  • Request that we delete your information

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no internet transmission is completely secure. We do our best to keep your data safe.
We’re not cavalier about this. Your trust means more to us than a five-star Google rating — and that’s saying something.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version here with a new “Last Updated” date.
